Chiseled
I'd like to bear my testimony about healthy food choices and lifting weights! :)Healthy Food: It amazes me the affect that food has on us. In making some dietary adjustments, my body is cleansed and healthy. But I'm learning valuable lessons about the importance of food choice. I bent my rules one day and ate some chips and salsa and I was painfully hating life the rest of the night. It makes me wonder if our bodies always internally react this way and we simply don't recognize it because we are so used to unhealthy food. So we continue to feel sluggish, tired, or lazy and wonder why.
Lifting Weights: I've started working out lots... I now love the gym because I can see definition. I find myself looking forward to going each day and being disappointed when I can't go. The clancking of the weights and throbbing of the burn means that I have something to look forward to in the mirror later. Not only that, but I have greater endurance. I play soccer twice as long as I did before without really being winded. It amazes me how the extra weight really does slow us down.
So to sum up... eating healthy and lifting weights= chiseled body/not shy of being in a bathing suit. :) Hot tubbing anyone?
