Thoughts on Blogging

Today I was at work and being that hardly anyone was there and there wasn't much to do... it gave me some time to catch up on reading all of my friends blogs. I have to admit that I haven't been that big of a blogger... mostly because I only blog when I feel like I have something amazing or fun that has happened to me (and I can't complain, this year has been full of fun trips) or I have massive downtime. AND since the invention of Facebook, I've been having fun with that.

But I am impressed with all of you... some of you pose some really great questions and thoughts, which has opened my eyes to the realization, that a blog is not just a virtual scrapbook (which I am also really bad at)... it is a cosmic flagship to the void... a siren to the masses... or just a penny for someone's thoughts. That is my new "ah-ha" with the blog... I don't have to post what happened, I can post what I think I know, I can post what I question, what I think about, what I wonder, what makes me giggle... what makes me me... in essense to really know the people in the pictures I post, you need to know the person... what they think about, laugh about, smile about and when they are miles away, that is hard to do.

So my new resolve is to type my mind. :) Watch out world...

I whole heartedly agree! Now, I've only been a "blogger" of three days now, but I must say I quite enjoy the ability to philosophize about life and make everyone else who is willing listen (or read) to me. Congrats and I look forward to reading your musings.
