Advice
Recently, I've had a couple of people offer dating advice to me. I normally don't mind but I thought some of the comments would be fun for you all to hear... perhaps you will hear them the way I do... and realize that the vast generalizations and over-simplicity of many of the statements are comical. :)
1) Just be friends with lots of guys, and then go to the temple lots, and when you're there see who stands out, and marry that person. (comment: "marry that person" easier said than done)
2) Stop being so picky, all you need is a worthy priesthood holder.
3) Looks aren't everything.
4) Just ask yourself, will he provide well for you?
5) You shouldn't worry about faults, everyone has them.
6) If you're just a good friend to him, one day he'll realize.
7) The moment you stop thinking about/searching for marriage is when it will happen.
I'll have to think of more... realistically if marriage were a formula, I think I might have worked it by now. I'm normally pretty good at math. :)

I saw your blog through Ashley's, so I thought I would say hi. I really do love this post, because I too can appreciate how humerous others can be with all of their "wise words of wisdom" about how we go about getting married. Fun times!
