Waiting....
So, the guy I have been crushing on just asked me out last week. After hanging up, and doing the happy dance... I quickly called my friends to have everyone join me in a virtual pat on the back for my would-be clever antics (but in real-time... un-premeditated chaos that actually dealt a good hand).
The date went well... surprisingly well, followed by some hang out sessions and big time flirting moments in the following days. We were already great friends, so crossing this line was an interesting move... but now comes the part I didn't think about while gleefully dancing about after that first phone call... the WAITING after the first date. Oh, yes, the awkward waiting.... the will he call me again... the waiting for the phone to ring... the can't concentrate on much else... mind-trap.
Well, I guess this can only be said when the date goes well, and yes I am speaking purely from a woman's perspective. Oh, what I wouldn't give for the "right click" feature when it comes to people. To be able to simply right click and view inner thoughts. If any such do-hicky is currently being invented I want in on the stock, as well as the prototype. It would save so much time and trouble in a "point and click" society and for those who are "patience challenged" such as myself. :)
